Obama's Brown Shirts? You may not believe this!

During the Holidays of Christmas and New Year, and as the Healthcare reform debate reached a resounding crescendo, a far more sinister act within the Obama Administration took place with no fanfare, no press releases, and absolutely no explanation.

Under Executive Order 12425, the Obama Administration has given Interpol, the international police force, free reign to operate in the US. Yes, that means that international cops with no bounds imposed on them by the Constitution could knock on your door and wisk you away to an international court for adjutication in that arena for your crimes (whatever they decide those are). Can Interpol deputize American citizens to act on their behalf? Is this the new Citizen defense force candidate Obama talked briefly about in 2008?

"As National Review Online's Andy McCarthy put it, the White House must answer these questions: Why should we elevate an international police force above American law? Why would we immunize an international police force from the limitations that constrain the FBI and other American law-enforcement agencies? Why is it suddenly necessary to have, within the Justice Department, a repository for stashing government files that will be beyond the scrutiny of Congress, American law enforcement, the media, and the American people?"
