Why "Never Keep Quiet"?

Why is the title of this blog "Never Keep Quiet"? It comes from a book called Never Silent, by Thaddeus Barnum. It is the story of how third world missionaries are bringing the Gospel to the US to counter the heresy which is rampant in so many mainline denominations. A signature phrase of one of the main characters of the book, Bishop John Rucyahana, is "Never Keep Quiet". Bs. John learned this phrase first hand as he witnessed the horrible civil war of his native Rawanda. He saw in the midst of suffering how many were afraid to speak out for fear of losing their lives or their possessions, or both. Because people were afraid to speak out, evil grew and grew until it erupted into genocide.

For this reason, Bs. John is not afraid to confront evil. And in this confrontation, he teaches us, "Never Keep Quiet".
