The Dearest Right, under attack: Private Property

In good times and bad, American Citizens have taken it for granted that if you pay your property taxes, your property is YOUR property. Sure, if you happen to be in the path of a new super highway or city hall next door needs to expand you might have the state take your property for the public need.

But in more recent years, starting with a Supreme Court decision about New London, more and more property owners are seeing their private property taken and given to some other private entity in the name of jobs (Mississippi), higher tax potential (New London), and new strategic private development, read that all here.

With all of our freedoms and liberties under daily assault by the State, we need to resist everywhere we can. Loss of an old factory may not be your fight, but if you don't stand up for someone ele's battle, someday they will come for you. That is what European Jews learned in WWII under Nazi Germany.
