Are we ready for the aftermath of a Terrorist Attack?

Peggy Noonan takes a look at the Department of Justice (DOJ)under Eric Holder and concludes here that we are not prepared.

Huh? When I think about possible resources that might be brought to bear after a terrorist attack, more lawyers from DOJ is not even on my list. Who is she kidding?

Here are my top 10 reasons why we are not prepared for a Terrorist Attack, Economic Collapse, or any other TEOTWAWKI (The End Of The World As We Know It) event:

1. We have no personal plans to deal with this
2. Lack of transportation will styme us
3. A Grid-down situation will paralyze us
4. Most of us keep little cash on hand when ATM's, creditcards don't work
5. Most of us have no foodstocks on hand
6. Most of us have no water sources available other than the kitchen tap
7. Many of us are not prepared to defend ourselves, family, or property
8. Most of us have not stored any of the necessities of life
9. We are not mentally prepared for a TEOTWAWKI environment
10. We are paralyzed by sudden, new situations

If any of these apply to you, I would start working down the list to eliminate these items from my personal vulnerability list.
