At a DNC fundraiser, President Obama conceeded that maybe his healthcare reform initiative, popularly called Obamacare after the earlier attempt at Hillarycare, won't succeed in the House. The story, reported by AP is curious considering Obama's earlier singal to charge ahead.
This signal of defeat for his signature legislative initiative after just days ago urging democrats to stay the course must be confusing to a congress that is nervously looking toward November elections.
But given his ideological attraction to the central government control possibilities of Obamacare, conservatives should not let up in keeping an eye out for any backroom deals Democrats may try to use to ressurect their long sought after goal.
