No, he doesn't want to start over on reform as republicans have demanded. He wants to discuss the "good ideas" already out there. Mr. President from your side of the aisle there are NONE!
This is an attempt to look for political cover by drawing republicans into the mess he has created. I would suggest republicans refuse to appear until they negotiate a set of ground rules that creates a true bipartisan effort at reform without shredding the Constitution of the United States or increasing the size of Government.
